Charles Monti
Job Developer 

Charles Monti is the job developer here at COCO. Charles has been working at COCO since May 24, 2004. He started out at COCO as a program instructor and is now the job developer.

He retired after 31 years of employment by the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation at Southbury Training School. His positions there included Senior Vocational Instructor, Education Program Supervisor and Workshop Supervisor II. The areas of training or work that Charles managed and supervised included the following: Country Café Restaurant, greenhouse, can redemption center, mobile food cart, chicken coup, tree farm, and procurer of work contracts for the workshops (i.e. piecework and greens crews).

Charles holds an Associates degree in Science from Mattatuck Community College and a Vocational Technical Education certificate from Central Connecticut State University.

He has been married for 33 years to Nancy and has 2 sons and 1 grandson.
