Kathleen Tolli
Program Director
Kathleen Tolli has been working with adults with
developmental disabilities for close to twenty years. She began
her career in New York State at an ICF group home working with
folks who had come from Staten Island Developmental Center in
New York City in 1986. After moving back to her home state of
Connecticut in 1990 she began working at The Arc of Farmington
Valley (formally FAVARH) as a direct care worker in one of
FAVARH’s group homes. Over the next few years she was hired as
one of four day program managers, managing some employment sites
as well as FAVARH’s Opportunity for Older Adults (OOA)
program. Upon leaving FAVARH, she briefly assisted her husband
with his business, and then she accepted a position as an
assistant manager at a group home (later in their day program)
with MARC Community Resources, Inc. in Middletown. In 1999,
Kathleen and her husband, Fred, moved to Bradenton, Florida
where she began working for Easter Seals/MARC of Southwest
Florida as a residential manager of three group homes housing 22
individuals. After only two years in Florida, the Tollis moved
back to Connecticut in November, 2001, at which time Kathleen
began her position as Program Director with COCO, Inc.
